Aedifex Games is an independent game studio founded by Andrew W. Smith in 2019. They are currently developing Mightychondria and Candelum: The Last Light.

Andrew W. Smith is a game developer, composer, and playwright based in Columbia, Missouri. He is a senior at the University of Missouri, pursuing degrees in Computer Science and Digital Storytelling, with minors in Theatre, English, and Mathematics. His current musical, UNABOMBER: the Musical - with book, music and lyrics by Mr. Smith - was workshopped in the 2026 Mizzou New Play Series. UNABOMBER was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Honors College Research Award and selected for presentation at the 2024 Chancellor’s Fund for Excellence Banquet and the 2025 Humanities Research Symposium.
