Legends tell of a time of peace and happiness: a time when there was light. That time was long ago. When the evil King Darkwick took power, he ordered all candles' lights to be put out. But there is one light that they missed: a young candle boy named Pascal. After the Army of Darkness burns down Pascal's village, Pascal embarks on an epic quest to relight the great pillars and return light to the world. Along the way, Pascal uncovers the truth about the past, himself, and his destiny.
